soon a few days off

I am so glad that last week finally ended. This was a horrible week and therefore I am really happy to have a week off from Friday on.

Can you imagine that since July 1st I am working EACH day? Okay, I may not work 8 hours every day but it's still hard not having a single day, where you don't have to worry and where you can just leave your mobile phones at home and enjoy your free time.

But there were also nice things last week. Fabiano and Isabelle have been here again and I spent a few evenings with them. They are really nice people and I hope to stay in contact with them, ones I am back.

Yes, I will finish my contract with MediaShop Reisen AG on December 31st 2008. I have to say I am happy about this. It's not that I didn't enjoy the time or that I would regret it. It is a great experience and I am happy that I had decided to do this, but I am definitely not born for this job. The contact with the guests is great when they don't shout at you and blame you for everything. For me this job is like a call center. And I am really shocked about what people complain. They think they can go on vacation for not a lot of money and find 5* hotels like in Switzerland. But this is just a small part of my guests. Most of them are really very nice and I met some great people.

It was and still is a great experience but I am also happy when I finish on December 31st 2008.
